October 30, 2009. Sacrafice

During a family meeting, my Daddy mentioned placing his Isaacs on the alter before God Almighty. After that I was in my room thinking of my Isaac's. My intretests, my books, my body, & my old daydreaming habit. (Old habits die hard. It's annoying, but worth it, Amen.) I then started remembered of a young man preaching at a youth service about the animal sacrafices and I remembered him saying, "I can't give old Bessy up.", and then I remembered Mary at the Cross Jesus was nailed at Golgotha.

The Patriarches, people of Ancient Israel, Mary, and the Disciples made sacrafices. Something we can escape, even today. The people of Israel sacraficed animals, they had to have been some who were very attached to them, because we love animals. Mary had Jesus, the one who choose to die for our sins as a sacrafice, really must have had a hard time letting God's will be done at the moment appointed. She was choosen by God to fulfill the prophecy of The Saviour's Virgin Birth, she was with Him during the 33 years of His time on this plante. We can only begin to imagine how she was taking it. But, she yeilded to God's Will st the perfect time, just like Jesus at the garden before He was arrested.

For this, I would like to present her as a wonderful example of sacrafice, Jochebed would fit for this subject, too.
I am going through a time of letting a couple of things go, and I thought I could motivate some people going through the some thing I am going through. Christians and non-Christians alike, because anyone can go through this phase.

Salvation:
If you have never recived Jesus Christ as The Way To Heaven, your Redeemer, and Saviour. You can always ask Him to be those to you and for you, right now. If you are not ready and you would like to talk to someone before making the decision, I would like to let you know my door is open to you, anytime.

But do please remember this, Today is the day of Salvation, tomorrow is not assured for everyone, not even Christians.
When God desicides to put you to sleep, He will. I am saying this not to scar you, it may, I am sure it must be, I was an atheist, too. I was there. Hehehehe. You ask a couple of Christians yourself, I'm sure they wouldn't mind talking about with you, or anyone for that matter.

So, just think about that long and hard. How you can do that is by reading the Bible, I would recommend The King James version for that matter, because it is the Christian's Blue Print on how to be a Christian to begin with. So, if you have always wondered which form of Christianity is best to follow, study the Bible and you will find out. If you really want to, you can attend a Bible Study, online, around your area, don't be shy.

When you are ready, though, understand that their will be things you will need to leave behind after you make the decision. Being a Christian does not mean you are, or will be prefect, (That's only in Heaven, the Second Life.) to become a Christian, you really have to admit you are not prefect, that is step number one. Step two, you ask the one you lived a prefect life on earth, Jesus Christ, to be your Lord and Savior. You just ask Him, it's very easy. Then the fun begins, The two you become best of friends, and like a friendship, or relationship, whichever you prefer to call it, you must tend to it daily if you are to know, grow, and be with Him. You can do that by reading the Bible, praying to Him and God, please don't leave Him out of this. You can also fellowship, or be with other Christians online, this is the internet, you can find just about anything or anyone for that matter. And that's it.

WARNING!!!

Before I leave, I am sure you are probably tierd of reading this, but I would to give you a warning. Some of the people of your life will not like the change you made and they will leave you. Why? Because some people don't except change. If they were, they would stay, and some will just might try to have you return to the you you were beofre you made The Desecion. It's part of being a Christian, you can read more about it in Matthew chapter 13, verses 01 through 23 for some inset, and it can be something for you to talk about to other Christians. Just incase you don't have anything to talk about with them at all. Hehehehe.
